This week's events:
Tuesday 11/29- Blue Ribbon Ceremony- Please remember to wear blue ribbon t-shirts with jeans. The program will begin at 12:15 in the Eckberg Center. Please join us!
Friday 12/2- Field Trip- Wear uniform as usual. Don't worry about sending lunch or a ticket on Friday. I'm treating the class to pizza for their success in the Zoo Atlanta and gingerbread contests! :)
Read on to see what we'll be studying:
Math- Lessons 4-5, 4-7, and 4-8 Topics covered will include: dividing with zeros in the quotient, dividing larger numbers, and multiple step problems.
Bible- Lesson 13- Moses' Final Charge
Verse- 1 Timothy 1:15 - This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
Language- We'll be studying nouns and identifying subjects and verbs. We'll cover pages 22-27 this week.
Vocab- Unit 7- We'll have a vocabulary test over the Unit 7 words on Thursday. We'll also complete workbook pages 58-61 as homework.
Writing- We will begin working on a Christmas essay this week. It will take several weeks to complete the writing process.
Reading- Beginning this week in Reading we will be presenting our individual Christmas book presentations. The students have the date they've been assigned. Please be sure to bring all materials and be ready to present on your scheduled day.
Social Studies - We'll be wrapping up Chapter four this week. We'll finish our notes in class and begin to review for the Chapter 4 test which will be on Friday afternoon once we return from our field trip.
