What we're working on this week
Reading- I am so completely impressed be the video projects that have been completed thus far. All of my reading groups are creating movie previews for the books they are reading or have completed reading. THEY LOOK AWESOME! I'm working on uploading them all to schooltube.com so that you can view the final product! I'll let you know once they're there! We'll continue final projects through Friday. Most students will begin new books after break. My Elijah of Buxton readers will finish the book after break.
Language- We'll be reviewing pronouns on Monday and Tuesday. We'll have our Unit 3 Test over pronouns on Wednesday. We'll highlight what's on the test in class on Monday. If I feel that the students need one more day of review in class, I may push the test to Thursday. Check the assignment pads for the latest!
Writing- This week we'll finish up our writing assignment about the significance of the first Christmas. We'll also finish up our very sweet little surprise that accompanies this assignment! We'll wrap up poetry after the break.
I hope you all have a blessed Christmas and a happy new year! If you're traveling, I pray that you arrive and return safely.
"Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord." Luke 2:12
