- The students did an outstanding job on the standardized testing. I'm so proud of their hard work. They were careful and checked their answers. I can't wait to see their super scores! What a smart bunch! Special thanks to Mrs. DeYoung, Mrs. Hughes, and Mrs. Reyes for sending in treats during testing.

- Bible: Lesson 25- Nehemiah The Organizer
- Reading: This week we'll continue listening to the audio of Hatchet by Gary Paulsen Survivor style. The students enjoyed listening and competing in team challenges last week. They are reading along with the audio and will be expected to review the book and pass the reading counts test as a quiz grade upon completion of the book. We'll also continue to read our independent reading books.
- Language: Unit 7- Prepositions, Interjections, and Conjunctions
- This week we'll begin Unit 7. We'll cover prepositions and interjections.
- Writing: This week we'll be doing a response to literature writing assignment on Hatchet. We'll also be typing our About the Author paragraphs for our writing portfolios. DON'T FORGET TO SEND IN PHOTOS FOR THE TIME CAPSULES!
